Bali, Indonesia, The award-winning Pan
Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort is proud to be the first in Indonesia to welcome
and host 129 contestants from this year’s Miss World pageant, along with pageant
organisers, crew and media from 2-6 September.
The stay at the expansive 103-hectare integrated golf
and spa resort was part of the exciting activities leading up to the grand
finals in Indonesia on 28 September.

The Miss World 2013 contestants received a traditional
Balinese welcome with indigenous rindik (Balinese bamboo) tunes
performed by local musicians. During their stay, the contestants engaged in
dress rehearsals as well as photo shoots and filming at the resort, against breathtaking
backdrops of sunsets along the majestic Indian Ocean and the exotic Tanah Lot
temple.
The Miss World 2013 contestants received a traditional

The video highlights of the contestants’ activities at
Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort will be screened during the live broadcast of
the highly anticipated pageant finals in Indonesia on 28 September, which is
expected to draw over two billion viewers world-wide.
As part of the pageant festivities, Pan Pacific
Nirwana Bali Resort also hosted the Miss World 2013 Golf Tournament on 8
September. Some 120 participants took on the resort’s award-winning Greg Norman
18-hole championship golf course to compete for a winner’s trophy and seats at the
2013 Miss World opening ceremony and welcome dinner later that evening. For

Set over 103 hectares of manicured gardens with
stunning views of the magnificent Indian Ocean and Bali’s iconic Tanah Lot
